FTS Games, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you play our single-player fantasy adventure game Legends of Meridian (the "Game") on the Meta Quest platform (including Meta Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro, and any future Meta Quest devices).

Because Legends of Meridian is a single-player game with no multiplayer features, leaderboards, in-game purchases, advertisements, or social features, we collect and process very little personal information.Our data practices also comply with Meta's Developer Data Use Policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information Automatically Collected by the Meta Quest Platform 

When you use the Game on a Meta Quest device, the Meta Quest system (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.) automatically collects certain data as part of normal headset operation. This may include:

• Device identifiers (e.g., headset ID)
• Technical information about your headset (hardware version, OS version, etc.)
• Usage data (how long the app is open, crash reports, performance data)
• IP address and general location (derived from IP)

B. Information We Collect Directly

Legends of Meridian itself collects only the following limited data for core functionality and improvement purposes:

• Anonymous gameplay telemetry (e.g., which levels were started/completed, session length, common quit or death locations).  

  → This data contains no personal identifiers and cannot be linked to you individually.

• Crash and error logs (automatically sent only if the Game crashes). These logs include technical details about the state of the Game at the time of the crash but do not contain your name, email, Meta account information, or any other personal data.

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Your name, email address, or Meta account information
• Precise location data
• Voice recordings or microphone data
• Camera or passthrough imagery
• Payment information
• Any data from children under 13. The Game is rated:

2. How We Use the Information

We use the limited anonymous data we collect solely to:

• Improve game balance and difficulty
• Fix bugs and crashes
• Understand which parts of the game are most or least enjoyable
• Ensure Legends of Meridian runs smoothly across different Meta Quest devices

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

The only exceptions are:

• With trusted service providers who help us operate the Game and analyze anonymous data (e.g., Unity Analytics for crashes). These providers are contractually required to keep data secure and use it only on our behalf.
• If required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Retention

Anonymous gameplay and crash data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above (typically no longer than 24 months).

5. Your Privacy Choices

Since we do not collect personal information directly from you, there are no accounts or profiles to manage. You can disable or limit telemetry and crash reporting through your Meta Quest device settings (these are controlled by Meta, not by the Game).

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we receive, including encryption in transit and secure storage.

7. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States or any other country where we or our service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by updating the policy in the Legends of Meridian store description on the Meta Quest Store and changing the “Last Updated” date.
